Maulana Azad National Urdu University was awarded “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MANUU secured 3.09 CGPA points in the second cycle.

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University was awarded “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MANUU secured 3.09 CGPA points in the second cycle. This is for the second consecutive time that the University was awarded “A” grade by NAAC.

MANUU vice-chancellor Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz in his message congratulated students and teachers for this mega achievement. The university which provides higher education through Urdu medium has undergone different tests and evaluations and came out with flying colours, he said.

The University’s major achievement for the second successive time also indicates that Urdu as a medium of instruction is second to none, said the VC. He also stressed on the need to promote an environment of knowledge, research and debate within the University.

Registrar Dr Shakeel Ahmad also welcomed the “A” grade to the University. MANUU offers courses in subjects like Information Technology, Computer Engineering besides Arts and Social Sciences through Urdu medium. Pass outs from MANUU are well placed in the market, he pointed out indicating that good placements are not a hindrance to students from Urdu medium background.
