Warangal: TDP leader R Prakash Reddy strongly objected to the remarks being made against his party leaders by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Tuesday he told the Chief Minister not to degrade his stature by using indecent language while criticising leaders of opposition parties.

He said what the TDP asking Telangana government was to speed up pending projects instead of redesigning projects. Debating on irrigation projects at recently held Mahanadu at Tirupathi was aimed to protect interests of Telangana people. There was nothing wrong with AP government’s objections on Telangana projects as its natural for people downstream a river to have doubts over projects upstream.

Prakash Reddy found fault with the TRS leadership to show the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in poor light by provoking Telangana sentiments and calling opposition leaders as anti-Telangana. The TDP was ready to cooperate with a state government in completing projects.

The Chief Minister claimed that there was corruption-free governance, but large-scale irregularities and misappropriation of funds in irrigation projects were taking place in Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts, the TDP leader asserted. Instead of targeting the TDP, the TRS leadership should focus on completing pending projects like Devadula and others, said the TDP district president Gandra Satyanarayana Rao and others.
