Cop among 7 arrested for gambling
In a bizarre incident, Khammam Urban police on Wednesday arrested a CID inspector and six others on charge of gambling. Acting on a tip-off, the Urban police led by inspector Sridhar raided the house of CID inspector Sada Niranjan at industrial area near Yellandu road. The police seized Rs 1.70 lakh cash and registered a case.
