The second anniversary of Telangana State Formation day was celebrated on Friday on a grand scale in the Bay Area with pomp and gaiety under the aegis of the Telangana American Telugu Association (TATA).
California Bay Area: The second anniversary of Telangana State Formation day was celebrated on Friday on a grand scale in the Bay Area with pomp and gaiety under the aegis of the Telangana American Telugu Association (TATA).
The NRIs from Telangana State turned out in large numbers. At a meeting held in this connection, the Telangana NRIs resolved to extend full support to the government of Telangana State for the State’s development.
The scale of celebrations were held under the stewardship of the TATA. Prior to commencing the celebrations, a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to those who had laid down their lives for the statehood. The proceedings commenced with Srinivas Manapragada soulfully rendering the song “Jaya Jayahe Telangana.
” Underlining the role of the Telangana NRIs in the movement for statehood to Telangana, several speakers praised the TRS government for making efforts to achieve “Bangaru Telangana.” The meeting also resolved to lend full support to the State government to enable it to achieve remarkable progress in all spheres.
