The newly established eight minority schools across various constituencies in Mahbubnagar district are all set to begin functioning towards the end of this month. Accordingly, the School Education department and Minorities Welfare department have made elaborate arrangements for beginning the academic year from June 27, 29 and 30. 

Mahabubnagar: The newly established eight minority schools across various constituencies in Mahbubnagar district are all set to begin functioning towards the end of this month. Accordingly, the School Education department and Minorities Welfare department have made elaborate arrangements for beginning the academic year from June 27, 29 and 30.

According to MA Hameed, Executive Director of Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation, the building locations have been finalized and the Principals and Urdu Academy faculty have been made in-charges for all these schools. “We have also completed the recruitment of the faculty required for all the 8 minority schools. Classes will begin from the end of this month,” informed Hameed.

The Minority Welfare department has prepared a detailed schedule to inaugurate these schools beginning on June 27 in Jadcherla, June 29 in Mahabubnagar and Farookhnagar and on June 30 at Narayanpeta, Kothakota, Kalwakurthy, Gadwal and Achempeta Assembly Constituencies “Dr C Laxmareddy, Minister for Health and Family welfare, Jupally Krishnarao, Minister for Panchayatraj and Rural development and District Collector Dr TK Sridevi, will participate in the inaugural programme,” said Hameed.

With the recruitment process completed and the necessary building infrastructure ready in place, this year the Minority Welfare department has decided to start three academic classes in English medium for the fifth, sixth and seventh classes.

The government has accommodated the school buildings temporarily at the old Social Welfare Boys Hostel in Jadcherla, Al-Madina College premises in Mahbubnagar, old Gayatri Pharmacy College at Nagulapally village in Farookhnagar, old Social Welfare Boys Hostel in Narayanpeta, at private premises in Kanayapally in Kothakota and at the R & B guest house at Kalwakurthy.
