​Nalgonda: Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha said vacant regular teacher posts in government schools would be filled only after the formation of new districts. Till then, the services of vidya volunteers should be utilised for the welfare of the students.

She toured Gundala mandal and participated in various programmes on Thursday. She unveiled the statue of Telangana Talli at Gangapuram and distributed lands to 16 eligible SCs of Gangapuram village.

Addressing the gathering, she asserted the TRS government is committed for the progress of SCs and other neglected sections. The government is ready to purchase the lands at market value if anybody wants to sell their lands in support of the scheme, she added.

She inaugurated newly constructed classrooms under RMSA with an estimated cost of Rs 41.5 lakhs each at Pallepadu and Suddala government high schools. She also inaugurated veterinary hospital at Suddala village.

Addressing the respective villagers, she said the government is putting all efforts to improve the standards in government schools and digital classes were already introduced in all high schools in the district for the purpose.
