Hyderabad: In the wake of the escalating row over speedy bifurcation of the High Court and lawyers’ protests for justice in allocation of posts continuing unabated, the Centre has decided to call a meeting to find an amicable solution to the impending problem.

According to sources, in a couple of days or so, if not on Monday, the Centre is to call a meeting of two Telugu States to sit across the table to discuss the bifurcation of the High Court.

The Centre reportedly is planning to shift the venue of the meeting from Hyderabad to Delhi as Governor of the two States, ESL Narasimhan, has suggested for it.

While Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda is understood to chair the crucial meeting, Narasimhan and Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu respectively will take part in the meeting to resolve the issue.

The Centre is understood to have come to a decision at the behest of Chief Justice of India TS Thakur who focused on the issue and spoke to Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Dileep B Bhosale.

It is pertinent to note that Chandrashekar Rao wrote to the Centre for its intervention and also a meeting with Narasimhan. Similar was the case with Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya who sought for a speedy decision on the High Court.

Even the Governor spoke to Bhosale and Advocate General and reportedly apprised of the situation to the Centre and urged for an urgent meeting of the two Chief Ministers.
