New Delhi: Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP Dr Boora Narsaiah Goud on Wednesday urged the Centre to realise the dangers posed by separatists and terrorists who were becoming increasingly tech-savvy and using all forms of social media to spread their heinous ideology.
Taking part in the Kashmir debate in the Lok Sabha here on Wednesday, he said that Kashmir and ‘Kashmiriyat’ were as much part of the country as was Telugus and their culture.
It was again wrong to interpret that the entire Kashmir was against India or the entire populace was terrorist. The silent majority believed in democratic values and systems and voted in the elections just as other citizens of the country, he recalled.
Goud suggested to the government to open formal and informal channels of dialogue with Kashmiri youth and civil society members to prevent further degeneration of the law and order situation.
He was of the opinion that the unfriendly neighbour harbouring terror modules and groups dabbled in Kashmir rhetoric whenever the government there was facing problems internally and urged all political parties to stand united on the issue and teach a bitter lesson to Pakistan in this regard.
