Nizamabad: District Collector Yogitha Rana directed the officials concerned to prepare a comprehensive report of saplings that were planted on the premises of all the departments in the district during the Haritha Haram programme and get them uploaded to GoogleApp.

Addressing the officials of various departments in the district after conducting the Prajavani programme here on Monday, she said that the details pertaining to the plants had to be uploaded to Google with Monday being the last day.

The District Collector said that all the saplings were planted under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) funds and the sweepers have to ensure that these plants were watered regularly and prevented from withering away.

They would be paid 45 paise on each sapling apart from their regular salaries and they should to carry the Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS) card without fail, she added.

She said if there were no workers, the village organisations would provide workers with EGS cards.

They should prepare a comprehensive report after examining the details and get them uploaded to GoogleAPP.

She said that if there were no compound walls around the anganwadi centres, fencing should be done around the plants to protect them from cattle grazing.

The officials should take steps and ensure that 40,000 saplings were planted in each gram panchayat without fail.
