​Nalgonda: TSRTC Chairman S Satyanarayana said that the Corporation was taking all possible steps to achieve breakeven point.

He visited Vadapalle and inspected the works of Pushkar ghats and arrangements of RTC for the convenience of devotees.

Later, he visited Nalgonda depot and interacted with the officials and employees to get feedback on the ongoing reforms in the Corporation.

Addressing the RTC staff, the Chairman said at present the TSRTC annual turnover is Rs 3,900 crores and planning to achieve Rs 5,000 crores in the coming years to reach breakeven point.

He requested the staff to put in their best efforts to increase the occupancy ratio from 70 to 80.

Satyanarayana further informed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was extending full cooperation to the RTC to overcome the existing problems.

Till now the State government has sanctioned Rs 1,100 crores to pay arrears and to purchase new buses.

The RTC will charge additional 50 percent on the existing charges during Pushkaralu, he added.

Later, he inspected the depot premises and bus stand and expressed displeasure on maintenance.

On the occasion, he planted a sapling in Nalgonda depot and said 60,000 saplings were planted in all depot areas in the district under Haritha Haram.

TSRTC ED Venu, RM Krishna Hari, DM Venkateswara Babu, officials Madhusudhan, Lavanya and others participated in the programme.
