DK Aruna, Sampath tilting towards TRS?
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is understood to be at it again – Operation Akarsh. He dealt a crippling blow to the TDP and Congress in reported annihilation of the Opposition. After a six-month lull to woo Opposition MLAs to the TRS fold, the CM this time understood to have targeted Gadwal legislator DK Aruna and Alampur MLA Sampath. However, the two MLAs denied the allegations.

Rumour mills are agog over the possible crossing over of the Alampur MLA following his interaction with the Chief Minister, when the latter had gone to Mahbubnagar district to take a holy dip in the River Krishna. The MLA accompanied the CM during the visit. When questioned about the scope of embracing the TRS, he did not reply in the negative but described the Chief Minister as a very good person.
Aruna was understood to have approached by some TRS leaders inviting her to the party fold. When her clarification has been sought, she stoutly denied the speculations and maintained that there was no questioning of quitting the Congress.
