Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Monday traced the skeletal remains of a 17-year-old girl, who was allegedly killed by the slain gangster Nayeem, over a petty issue a few months ago.
According to the SIT officials investigating the case, the investigation revealed that Nasreen, believed to be a domestic help, was killed by Nayeem in the Lift House, Alkapuri Colony, under Narsingi police station limits. The deceased had objected over assigning various tasks, while others were getting ready to attend a marriage function.
She was asked to stay alone at home for which Nasreen had threatened to commit suicide by jumping off from the building. “On hearing that, Nayeem got wild and beat the victim and ingested sleeping pills and then the entire family left for the function.
After returning from the function, Nayeem with the help of another accused Fayeem alias Taimur and others, disposed off the dead body in the limits of Manchiverula village at Outer Ring Road,” informed SIT in-charge and IGP, Y Nagi Reddy.
Fayeem spilled the beans during the investigation. Inquest was conducted by Tahasildar, Rajendranagar, and a team of doctors conducted autopsy over the skeletal remains. A separate murder case has been registered against Nayeem and others under Sections 302 and 201 of IPC. So far 38 cases were registered against Nayeem and his gang members across the State.
The SIT on Monday also sought further custody of seven days of the accused Farhana and Afsa and 10-days of Fayeem and Shaheen for further investigation of the case from Upparpally court. Meanwhile, producer-distributor Natti Kumar alleged that former Naxalite-turned-gangster was instrumental in aiding many Tollywood biggies like C Kalyan and Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna.
He demanded a thorough probe into his links in Tollywood. Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, the producer said he was threatened to part with his theatre Venkateshwara Mahal in Narsannapeta in Srikakulam to Nayeem for a mere Rs 25 lakh. “It was valued at Rs 1 crore but he took it away from me for Rs 25 lakh. I’ve approached top cops of the area but it was of no use.
In fact, I even had a word with Atchannaidu while he was on a plane but he too failed to help me,” rued Natti Kumar.
He informed that producer Bandla Ganesh was threatened by Nayeem to return Rs 20 crore that he took from businessman-producer Sachiin Joshi.
“Ganesh had to return the money to Sachiin fearing what Nayeem would do to him,” he pointed out. He further alleged that Nayeem’s men guarded a disputed land of producer Sivaramakrishna in the Madhapur area of Hyderabad.
