Speaking to the media, Nizamabad BC Welfare Association Leader Narala Sudhakar demanded the passage of the Backward Classes Welfare Bill in Parliament to solve their problems and release of the BC Corporation funds. 

Nizamabad: Leaders of the Backward Classes Association in the town sat on a dharna in front of the District Collectorate on Tuesday demanding the State government to solve their long pending issues. Earlier, they took out a huge rally from the Tilak Gardens to the Collectorate and raised slogans against the government for its indifference.

Speaking to the media, Nizamabad BC Welfare Association Leader Narala Sudhakar demanded the passage of the Backward Classes Welfare Bill in Parliament to solve their problems and release of the BC Corporation funds.

He said that a subsidy budget should be formulated for the financial year 2016 and loans should be sanctioned for selected beneficiaries.

He said that the State government should sanction 500 gurukuls for the BCs and reimburse the entire fee for the BCs just as in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
