Hyderabad: The Congress Legislature Party on Friday demanded a probe into the tenders of Mission Kakatiya and all irrigation projects being executed by the TRS government in the State.

At a press conference held at CLP Office on Friday, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir and Deputy CLP leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged that TRS government was indulging in large-scale irregularities in executing Mission Kakatiya and other irrigation projects.

They said the very fact that two engineers suspended for submitting fake bills proves the charges of corruption leveled by the Congress party in the past.

Stating that the tenders for Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Project too were bogus, Shabbir Ali demanded the State government to place all tenders in public domain.

He, further, said the government should discuss the issue of tenders pertaining to Mission Kakatiya in the State Assembly and Council and it should also place all records before the Speaker for scrutiny by opposition.
