Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has given his nod for final blueprint of Yadadri temple and directed the officials to ensure that the works were completed by Dasara next year.

The Chief Minister, who reviewed the progress on the arrangements made by the Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) to develop the temple city as a spiritual and pilgrim destination, said various corporate houses had evinced interest in taking up construction of the 250-acre guest house complex on the hilltop.

The lush green landscape that was planned on the hilltop would help in bringing down the temperatures by 4-5 degrees within the temple premises, the Chief Minister said. He also approved the design of miniature replica of the 108-feet Lord Hanuman statue, to be installed at the Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy abode.

The statue would be prepared in China. A team of temple committee led by noted architect Anand Sai would go to China soon and handover the design, according to Chief Minister’s office.

The new project would be the world’s first temple complex to have five sanctum sanctorums carved out of a monolith stone. He said that 500 expert sculptors and others were already working on the sculptures.
