During the last one month, 5-6 cases of dengue fever have been reported on a daily basis. As the winter season is beginning, the doctors at the hospital are expecting a rise in the cases.“The government is doing its best to provide all the facilities in the hospital. But the hospital administration is showing least interest in utilising these facilities.
In fact, the blood platelet separation machine which is yet to be installed, is left non-functional due to delay in getting permission from the centre. Though there are good facilities in the hospital, the hospital authorities are lackadaisical in their approach. The cleanliness in the hospital is not up to mark and the outside premises are infested with mosquitoes. Pigs are roaming all around the hospital,” says Giridhar, a patient at the hospital.
