Cyclone Vardah: Rainfall continues in Hyderabad

Since the early morning hours of Wednesday, Hyderabad has been receiving rainfall which can be attributed to Cyclone Vardah. The cyclone is now heading to Coastal Karnataka and Southeast Arabian Sea.

According to the weather forecast, remnants of the cyclone are still prevailing over Hyderabad and the weather conditions are in favour of rains, however, with less intensity in the city.

The light rains and thundershowers are expected to continue till evening. With the cyclone drifting away from the Indian coast, the rains are likely to reduce in Telangana. Cyclone Vardah had made landfall in Tamil Nadu resulting in heavy rains all across Chennai, Bengaluru and even in Andhra Pradesh.
