SHE Team holds awareness programme on ragging
Members of SHE team from the Toopran sub-division on Wednesday organised an awareness programme on ragging at the local Sri Chaitanya College.

Addressing the participants, CI Ramesh Babu stated that names of the informers of sexual harassment against women, either to the SHE team or dial 100, would be kept a secret. He said people resorting to harassment would be given counselling, to make them take the right path. If they failed to change their attitude then steps as per the law would be taken, the CI warned.
Babu told the students that complaint boxes have been installed by the SHE team. He assured that the complaints would be looked into and suitable action taken. The CI advised the gathering that they should ‘ignore ill-advised talk during telephone conversations’ and that ‘harassment would start after messages are sent’.
Among those present were SI N Venkatesh, ASI Y Goud, and SHE team in-charge.
