Police arrest 13 for cricket betting
Special Operations Team (SOT) of Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested as many as 13 persons on charges of betting in the ongoing IPL matches.Police recovered Rs 2,66,450 in cash, one laptop, 15 mobile phones and one iPad from the possession of the accused.
Hyderabad: Special Operations Team (SOT) of Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested as many as 13 persons on charges of betting in the ongoing IPL matches.Police recovered Rs 2,66,450 in cash, one laptop, 15 mobile phones and one iPad from the possession of the accused. Police arrested the accused after conducting raids at two places in Vanasthalipuram and one place in Uppal based on credible information. Despite police vigil, bookies continue to operate in and around Hyderabad.
