According to the reports, political interference is said to be behind the attack and the government has ordered not to allow any politician into the markets.
Following the orders, the police took immediate action and restricted the politicians who staged protests from entering the market and arrested them to get the situation under control.
While some of the political leaders were arrested, TDP, CPI and CPM leaders expressed their solidarity to farmers.
