Chief Secretary S P Singh on Saturday directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of distribution of Fish Prasadam at Exhibition Grounds on 8 and 9 June. The Chief Secretary held a coordination meeting at Secretariat with all the departments concerned with the arrangements for the distribution of ‘Fish Prasadam’.

​Hyderabad: Chief Secretary S P Singh on Saturday directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of distribution of Fish Prasadam at Exhibition Grounds on 8 and 9 June. The Chief Secretary held a coordination meeting at Secretariat with all the departments concerned with the arrangements for the distribution of ‘Fish Prasadam’.
During the meeting S P Singh instructed the officials to make security arrangements with CCTV, proper lighting, strong barricades, temporary sheds for patients, NGO stalls, more fish distribution counters and provision of adequate water tankers for storing fish-lings and etc. Special queues for physically handicapped, old age and ladies with small kids should be arranged, he said.
S P Singh stressed on maintenance of sanitation, garbage clearance, regular cleaning with bleaching powder. He also instructed the officials to provide sufficient drinking water at the venue for patients and also for their dependents, visitors and officials on duty. He said arrangements should also be made for provision of milk at the venue for benefit of the people visiting Exhibition grounds.
He instructed that token distribution should be done properly without any inconvenience to the people. The Chief Secretary directed that a 24x7 control room at Exhibition grounds should be set up for monitoring of the crowds coming from all over country with necessary bandobust.
The Chief Secretary also directed the officials to make full proof arrangements for uninterrupted power supply, Special RTC buses should ply from bus stands and Railway stations, he added. Adequate medical units, ambulances and fire engines should be provided to meet any emergencies during the nonstop distribution of the Fish Prasadam.
