Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP)working unit president A Revanth Reddy on Friday demanded that the Telangana government disclose the names of the persons on whom 123 acres of land at survey number 44 and 45 was registered in Miyapur area in Hyderabad.

Addressing the press here, the TDP leader said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao ordered enquiry into the land scam unearthed in the State recently and found 816 acres of land at survey number 6 had been registered illegally. He questioned the Chief Minister for not divulging the details of 123 acres of land registered in the name of some influential persons.

Revanth Reddy said the cancellation of the registration of land owned by Telangana RashtraSamithi (TRS) senior leader and MP K Keshav Rao was only eyewash. He demanded that Chandrashekar Rao revive the scrapped Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act and take legal action against all those who involved in the land scam immediately.
