New Delhi: Congress leaders led by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy, and Mohd Shabbir Ali met the party in-charge Digvijay Singh here on Wednesday to coordinate a massive protest against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government for its alleged involvement in scams.
Speaking to the media later, the Congress leaders said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was in collusion with the fraudsters and permitting huge scams in the State.

The CBI should have been asked to probe the Miyapur land scam long back, but due to a tacit understanding with the State government, the Centre was turning a blind eye to it, the leaders said. It was well known that the BJP, which is not sure of its Presidential candidate's win in the elections, had colluded with the TRS for its support in the elections. Hence, despite the many requests of the Congress a CBI inquiry was not being ordered, they added.

They said KCR turned the whole State into his personal estate and his family members were looting the State recklessly and allowing their cronies too to make their own cut everywhere. The Union Minister for Home Rajnath Singh’s refusal to give an appointment in this regard was proof behind the hidden agenda of BJP-TRS combine, they said seeking a CBI inquiry into the scam.
