The Telangana Government has decided to set up 21 new degree Colleges for Scheduled Tribes (STs).

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has decided to set up 21 new degree Colleges for Scheduled Tribes (STs).

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has taken a final decision on where to set up these new Degree residential colleges for STs, after having a discussion with Minister A Chandulal, ST MLAs, MPs and MLCs.

In the first phase 21 degree College will be set up in the following places: Kothagudem (for Girls), Khammam (For Girls), Manuguru (Boys), Mahabubabad (Girls), Mulugu (Girls), Maripeda (Boys), Jangaon (Girls), Adilabad (Boys), Utnoor (Girls), Asifabad (Girls), Nizamabad (Girls), Kamareddy (Boys), Sangareddy (Boys), Medak (Girls), Rangareddy (Girls), Mahbubnagar (Girls), Nagarkurnool (Boys), Suryapet (Girls), Devarakonda (Girls), Siricilla (Girls) and Karimnagar (Boys).
