Journos seek fee concession for their wards in private schools

Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ), affiliated to TWJF, on Wednesday, requested the Education Department to ensure that children of journalists in the City and Hyderabad region are provided 50 per cent concession in private and corporate schools.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ), affiliated to TWJF, on Wednesday, requested the Education Department to ensure that children of journalists in the City and Hyderabad region are provided 50 per cent concession in private and corporate schools.
A representation to this affect has been presented to the Regional Joint Director of Education Department here by HUJ president E Chandrasekhar, secretary B V N Padmaraju and executive president Ch Vijayananda Rao.
The Union leaders pointed out that the fees in private and corporate schools had gone up abnormally and hence there was need for concession to the children of journos.
