Actor Varun Sandesh’s wife denies suicide bid reports
Rubbishing the reports of her suicide attempt as rumours, actor Varun Sandesh’s wife Vithika Sheru on Wednesday said they were a happy couple and there was absolutely no reason for her to take such a foolish and extreme step.
Hyderabad: Rubbishing the reports of her suicide attempt as rumours, actor Varun Sandesh’s wife Vithika Sheru on Wednesday said they were a happy couple and there was absolutely no reason for her to take such a foolish and extreme step.
It may be recalled that the social media went viral with the news of Vithika’s alleged suicide attempt and about her treatment in a corporate hospital in the city.
However, speaking to the media, Vithika said that it was just an overdose of sleeping pills that she swallowed by mistake.
“I have been suffering from sleeplessness ever since I returned from the United States last month. It could be due to a jetlag or to a busy schedule attending functions without taking any rest. I spoke to our doctor who prescribed the pills.
Our watchman brought the pills from the medical shop and unknowingly I consumed an overdose of the pills,” Vithika told the media persons in an apparent attempt to clear the air.
She also said that she was leading a happy life with Varun and there was absolutely no truth in the report about her suicide attempt.
