TRS leader sets himself on fire in Vikarabad party meeting

A Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) activist allegedly attempted suicide by setting himself on fire in Vikarabad district on Wednesday.

The TRS leader, Ayub Khan set himself ablaze at a party meeting in front of Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy in Tandur town.

According to the police, the TRS leader who delivered a speech at the meeting suddenly doused himself with kerosene and set himself on fire.

While the exact reason behind taking the step is not known, he has been shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad.
