Malkajgiri, Kachiguda, Secunderabad, Nacharam, Manikonda, Somajiguda, Ameerpet, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Panjagutta and other areas were the worst-affected.
As usual, the downpour left low-lying area water-logged and it submerged the main streets and roads. The emergency squads of GHMC swung into action.
