Hyderabad: State government appointed former Assembly Secretary Soma Raja Sadaram as the Chief Information Commissioner and senior journalist Budha Murali as Information Commissioner on Friday.
The Committee headed by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held a meeting with the members consisting of Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali and Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy at Pragati Bhavan and finalised the two appointments.
The Governor E S L Narasimhan also gave his nod. Chief Secretary S P Singh, Principal Secretaries S Narsing Rao, Adhar Sinha and Legal Secretary Niranjan Rao also participated in the meeting.
