B. Muthyam Reddy got elected as Vice President by defeating P. Manohar Reddy by a 261 votes margin. Likewise, Naresh Solanki was elected as Honorary Secretary by defeating Sajid Baig by a margin of 136 votes. K.R. Ajoy Reddy, M. Chandrasheker Reddy, Syed A. Hashmathullah and Rakesh Malkud have been elected as members of Managing Committee. These office bearers wee elected in a just concluded election.

M. Amarender Reddy was elected as President last year and is currently serving in the same capacity. The newly elected office bearers will be in office for two year term.

Established in 1884, Nizam Club was founded by Nawab Mahbub Ali Khan Asaf Jah VI. It came up because there was only one major club, Secunderabad Club in the Hyderabad State and it was confined to the British Residents of Hyderabad State. The then Prime Minister Mir Laiq Ali Khan Salar Jung II, suggested a club for gentlemen of status and culture, irrespective of race, religion or creed, be established and the Nizam Club came into existence.
