Hyderabad: US President Donald Trump’s daughter and entrepreneur Ivanka is expected to share her experience in business administration with Telangana entrepreneurs at the three-day Global Entrepreneur Summit beginning here on November 28.
Telangana state government is planning to hold a brief interaction between Ivanka and the budding entrepreneurs mainly those who have set up startups in the T-Hub and a few women entrepreneurs who are running their own businesses in and out of the Telangana state. The State Industries and Commerce department is holding talks with Ivanka’s staff to fix this interaction in her schedule.
The state government has invited Ivanka to visit T-Hub during her stay in Hyderabad. If the US government agrees, the state government will organise a gathering between Telangana entrepreneurs and Ivanka at the Hub. The other option before the government to hold a meeting with Ivanka at the venue of the panel discussion in which state Industry Minister KT Rama Rao will speak on TS-iPASS, the state government’s new industrial policy, and the government’s role in promoting start-ups through the T-Hub.
The panel discussion will also be attended by Ivanka, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair’s wife Cherie Blair and others. The government wants to showcase promotion of entrepreneurship in a big way before US delegation headed by Ivanka in the summit, an official said. The government has decided to announce the launch of Rs 100 crore ‘T Fund’ for start-ups in the international conference.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to participate in the exclusive interaction programme, according to sources. Around 75 entrepreneurs from Telangana will be participating in the summit. Names of the senior entrepreneurs from IT, pharma, manufacturing, energy and other sectors were already shortlisted.
The meeting will facilitate to exchange views on the business trends in the US and India between the two groups. The officials maintained that information regarding the meeting venue and schedule would not be disclosed now.
