Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), the only university offering courses at higher level through Urdu medium, has announced admission into regular courses for the academic year 2018-19.

Admissions for Ph.D. (Urdu, English, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Translation Studies; Women Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, Islamic Studies, History, Economics, Sociology; Education; Journalism & Mass Communication; Management, Commerce, Mathematics, Zoology, Computer Science); MA (Arabic); MBA; M.Tech.(CS); MCA; B.Tech.; M.Ed.; B.Ed.; D.El.Ed.; and Diploma in (Civil Engineering; Computer Science Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering & Information Technology) are offered through entrance test.

Admissions are also offered through merit for various Post Graduate Programmes, Under Graduate Programmes, PG Diploma Programmes, Diploma and Part-time Diploma Programmes.

According to a notification issued by the MANUU the last date for submission of filled in application forms for entrance test based courses is 26th of March and for all merit based it is 09th of July.

University is offering Bridge Courses for Madrasa pass outs so that they can integrate into mainstream education. After completion of this course, the candidates shall be eligible to take admissions in Under Graduate (B.Com./B.Sc.) and Polytechnic programmes on the basis of merit.
