Harish promises irrigation facility in Achampet region
Minister for Major Irrigation T Harish Rao visited Ambrabad and Achampet mandals in Nagarkurnool district on Monday.
Nagarkurnool: Minister for Major Irrigation T Harish Rao visited Ambrabad and Achampet mandals in Nagarkurnool district on Monday. The Minister promised to ensure that water is provided to irrigate 1.5 lakh acres in Ambrabad and Achampet constituencies. He said a reservoir with a capacity of 2.5 tmcft would be constructed in Ambrabad.
While speaking at a meeting during the inauguration of a warehouse, Harish Rao said, “Ambrabad and the regions of Achampet in Nagarkurnool district are the most backward areas. For this we are proposing to construct a reservoir to provide irrigation water.”
Later the Minister, along with the local MLA Guvvala Balaraju and others took part in the inauguration of a 33/11 KV sub-station at Madhavinpally village in Ambrabad mandal.
