Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed his deep condolences on the demise of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President and Tamil Nadu former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

K Chandrashekar Rao said that Karunanidhi was an undaunted political fighter, mass leader who struggled for the socio-economic development of marginalised sections of society in Tamil Nadu.

In his death, India has lost a political stalwart and it will be difficult to fill the void caused by his sad demise. The Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the bereaved members of the family.

The Chief Minister described Karunanidhi as one among the few people who made them politically aware.The TRS Chief will leave for Chennai to attend the last rites of the departed DMK leader. He will personally pay tributes on behalf of Telangana People to Karunanidhi on Wednesday.
