Nalgonda: Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy here on Monday made it clear that former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his brother Rajgopal Reddy are not welcome in the TRS party.
The Minister satirically said, “TRS is not willing to admit brokers, jokers and hackers.” He made these comments at a media conference, held after inaugurating new Zilla Parishad building, constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore, here.
The Minister advised Komatireddy brothers to consult psychiatrist instead of approaching the TRS. He held the Congress party responsible for driving students to commit self-immolation during Telangana agitation. He was confident that the people would ignore AICC President Rahul Gandhi.
He expressed confidence that the people would re-elect the TRS because the government had not only fulfilled all the promises but also implemented schemes beyond the expectations of the people. He said there was space for the Congress in the Sate.
So far, as many as Rs 40,000 core worth of development and welfare programmes were executed in the erstwhile Nalgonda district, he said. The government was paying special attention to the minor irrigation projects to transform the drought prone areas into fertile.
ZP Chairman Balunaik, TSFDC Chairman Banda Narender Reddy, MP Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, MLCs K Prabhakar, P Ravinder MLAs Vemula Veeresham, Gadhari Kishore, Bhaskar Rao, CEO Koteswar Rao and others participated in the programme.
