Mahbubnagar: The Backward Classes Association members have demanded the state government to immediately release the necessary funds to the BC corporations and subsidy to all the eligible beneficiaries and ground all the units of various self employment schemes which is being delayed for a very long time.
While shooting a letter to the Principal Secretary of Backward Corporation Burra Venkatesham, the Telangana BC Welfare Association state secretary said that in the entire erstwhile Mahbubnagar district, the BCs have been neglected during the past 4 years. Even though thousand of BCs have applied for various self-employment schemes under the BC Corporation, till now not a single unit has been grounded in the district.
“We are demanding the BC corporation officials to immediately release the necessary funds and ground the units so that the youth who are roaming jobless can get self employment. We are demanding the corporation officials not to link the self employment schemes with banks and they directly give the subsidy without banks intervention,” said Rachala Yougandhar.
