Everyone should utilise the right to vote, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini who inspected the voters enrolment programme in the district on Sunday
Kothagudem: Everyone should utilise the right to vote, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini who inspected the voters’ enrolment programme in the district on Sunday.
Speaking on occasion, he said the officials are ready to conduct the elections. He made the sudden visit to the mandal and observed the voters enrolment programme. He also changed all officers in the district in this programme.
He said, officers and staff must create awareness on the voters’ enrolment among the people.
He called upon the youngsters who have attained 18 years age on January 1, 2018, to enrol their name in the voters’ list. The enrolment programmes will also be conducted in villages, he added.
He also explained how to enrol the new voters in the list. He explained the form 6. The Collector asked officers to explain the importance of voting right to the people.
To create awareness about the enrolment of voter a run will be organised in the district on 25th of this month.
He appealed to the people to utilise the facility. The District Collector asked the booth level officer to play key role in the programme.
