Malkajgiri: Five prominent district leaders of Congress party tendered resignations here on Wednesday. Vice president of Rangrareddy Congress party and OBC cell state joint convener Seetha Babu Yadav, district party secretaries L Lav Kumar, Rohith Naidu, Praveen Kumar, the state minority cell convener Mujeeb and minority leader Ravichandra Babu, along with their followers, resigned from Congress party.
Speaking on the occasion, they said they have decided to resign from party as they did not get proper recognition in the party. The resignation letters would be sent to AICC national president Rahul Gandhi and state PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, they said. Notably, all the resigned leaders are followers of the noted social activist Sathi Ramchandra Reddy.
