Khammam: While thousands of people are suffering with viral fever and seasonal diseases in the city, the Mayor and ruling party carporators are behaving negligently without taking any preventive measures, said CPM leader Y Vikram here on Friday.
On their visit to various divisions of the city, the CPM leaders noticed heaps of garbage and wastes that are dumped openly in certain locations without any dust and waste bins.
Y Vikram said that people are now realizing the difference between CPM and TRS and the way the parties are ruling. For several weeks many people are suffering with viral and seasonal diseases, but the TRS party leaders and officials are not in a mood to take necessary steps to provide people any relief from these diseases and medical facilities, he alleged.
People living in Khammam city are gearing up to start a revolution against TRS party and put an end to its reign, he warned. He demanded the officials of Khammam Municipal Corporation and the Mayor and ruling party carporators to conduct special cleanliness drive for keeping the city clean and provide medical facilities in the government hospitals to the people suffering with diseases.
