Vikarabad: Mock polling was held before representatives of recognized political parties at collector office on Tuesday. A total 70 EVMs which were attached to VVVPATs were used in the mock polling, said district collector Syed Umer Jaleel.
Arun Sharma, observer from Election Commission, oversaw the mock polls. He interacted with engineering staff of BEL on functioning of machines and made some suggestions to them as well. Among those participated in the program were joint collector Aruna Kumari, RDO Vishwanatham, election officers and staff, BEL engineering staff and representatives of recognized political parties.
