Call for uplift of Vishwakarmas

Habsiguda: Telugu Desam Uppal constituency in charge Tulla Veerender Goud stressed on the uplif of Vishwakarma community at the first anniversary celebrations of Vishwakarma Association in Ramanthapur on Monday.

He said that due to industrialisation and policies of the government, the members of the community were struggling for secured employment. Loss of traditional caste-based practices was also to be blamed, he lamented and demanded that the government earmark special budget for the community. Leaders Punnamacharyulu, Sivapally Rajesham, Raghupathi Goud and Venkanna Goud were present.
