IICT celebrates Dr Kalam’s birth anniversary

Tarnaka: As per the UN declaration, the 87th birth anniversary of former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was celebrated by the staff and students of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) as ‘Students Day'. Dr. Arun Tiwari, author-scientist and a close associate of Dr. Kalam, attended the event.
In-charge director of IICT Dr N V Satyanarayana, Dr Arun Tiwari and other staff members paid rich tributes to Dr Kalam. They remembered the achievements of Dr. Kalam, who is known as the “Missile Man of India” and “People’s President”. A brief documentary on Dr. Kalam’s biography and achievements was screened for young students and staff.
