Burial ground open to all castes: Madhavaram Krishna Rao

Kukatpally: People of all castes can use the Hindu burial ground located in Kukatpally, said Madhavaram Krishna Rao, former MLA and TRS candidate of Kukatpally Constituency. He visited the burial ground after he had come to know that people of some castes were not being allowed to use it. He assured people that all of them have rights over the burial ground, as it was developed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with its own funds. Necessary legal action would be taken against those who obstruct people from using it, he said. He also promised that a committee would be formed after consulting the villagers, and that it will ensure the issue is amicably addressed.
