Patancheru: Former Air Force officer Karunakar Reddy, contesting on BJP ticket from Patancheru Assembly seat, is miles ahead of his rivals in campaigning. "Without any personal expectations just to render service to the society, I jumped into politics," said the BJP candidate during the door-to-door campaign organised on Monday in RC Puram Town, Old Ramachadrapuram, Bombay Colony, LIG, MIG, PHC and surrounding residential colonies of Ramachadndrapuram Mandal.
Karunakar Reddy promised to resolve the pending civic issues and be available to people round-the-clock. The BJP candidate, overwhelmed by the response getting from the voters, requested them to elect him as MLA with a huge margin. During the padayatra, a large number of women and youth cadre joined the ranks of BJP.
