Nalgonda: Senior Congress leader and candidate from Nalgonda constituency Komatireddy Venkat Reddy urged the people not to believe in false promises of KCR once again and support the people-friendly Congress party in the Assembly elections slated to be held on December 7.
On Thursday, he conducted his door-to-door election campaign in Ward No 9, 12 in Nalgonda town. Addressing the gatherings, he said, congress is the only party which provides benefits to all sections of society including farmers, youth, women, employees and unemployed.
TRS which lost people’s faith is going to be defeated in the forthcoming elections, he predicted. He informed that people of all sections are getting ready to bring Congress in power in the state to get relief from hardships faced in the TRS regime.
He stated that he played a responsible role in carving Telagana State by doing indefinite hunger strike and resigning the minister post, where as TRS fielded a person who opposed Telangana and spending crores of rupees to defeat him using illegal methods.
Stating that Nalgonda constituency was developed considerably in the Congress regime and informed that the pending projects in the district will be completed if Congress comes to power in the State.
In this campaign TDP Nalgonda constituency incharge Madagoni Srinivas Goud, town president Akunuri Satyanaryana, TJS leader Pannala Gopal Reddy and large number of ward people participated.
Also, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s wife Sabitha in support of her husband carried out election campaign in Wards No 24 ,25 and 18 in the town. Speaking on this occasion, she said the TRS government ignored women completely and KCR has not given place to single woman in his cabinet. She urged the respective ward residents to support Congress to relieve the state from the clutches of dictatorial KCR family.
