Nalgonda: As part of creating awareness on importance of casting of votes among the patients who approach him with health issues, Doctor Jayaprakash Reddy of Srinivasa Hospital in Nalgonda on Thursday conducted a meeting with his out patients and appealed to them to cast their votes without fail for better future of both the State and the country.

Dr Reddy advised patients that not to enjoy the polling day as a holiday but vote. He humbly appealed to all the people not to accept money or any gifts from any contesting candidate or party as it is an insult to democracy.

By bowing to notes for vote people become slaves of leaders for five years as none can raise voice against any leader for any injustice or for any welfare measure.

Leaders look down upon the people who take notes for votes thus self respect is lost. Urging them to vote for strong future of democracy, he added that if anyone feels no candidate is worth better press button of NOTA.

He felt that doctors not only feel the pulse of the people and render medical service but also understand society and render service to society by educating people on important social issues like casting of vote.In this programme as many as 70 outpatients participated.
