Zahaeerabad: Overall polling was peaceful in the constituency. The polling process started at 7 am in Jharasangam, Koir, Mogudampalli, Nyalkal mandals. The process got delayed for two hours in some villages due to technical issues with the EVMs. People’s Front candidate Geetha Reddy along with her husband Ramachandra Reddy had cast their votes in polling booth 161 in the town. BLF candidate B Ramchander had cast his vote in Paidimal village in Kohir mandal. Special arrangement had been arranged for the specially challenged people.
