Hyderabad: Jubilant over the emphatic victory of TRS in the elections, Telangana Rashtra Samiti supremo K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday gave a call for “BJP and Congress Mukth Bharat” and announced to form a new political party, which would be a consortium of regional parties.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan after the results were out, Chandrashekar Rao said that the idea of his front was to unite people of the country and not political parties. The country needed a new economic and agriculture model. He alleged that the BJP and Congress were talking rubbish.

“India needs to come out of the routine of either the Congress or BJP. If this type of system has to go then the country should follow Telangana model. It is not an alignment of political parties but uniting the people. Within one month there will be a qualitative change in the Indian political scenario,” said Chandrashekar Rao adding Federal Front would belong to the people of India. He said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Mamata Banarjee had congratulated him for the victory of TRS.

The TRS president stressed on the need to reframe the Constitution of India stating that already seven-and-a- half decades of time got wasted. He said that the concurrent list should be scrapped and the subjects in it should be transferred to the state. He said that the country needs to change. How long do we have to wait? For everything there is a beginning. “Why should Centre keep with departments like education, agriculture and health,” KCR asked.

Rao pitched for federal structure of judiciary in the country objecting to only one single Supreme Court. “One Supreme Court for the entire country and its orders have validity over the entire country. The Supreme Court give directions if there is an inter-state dispute,” said Rao. Rao once again reiterated that the Supreme Court gave wrong judgment crossing its limits on reservations.

“Supreme Court has crossed its limit by giving wrong judgment and who should correct this? Parliament should correct it. Who are you (Prime Minister) to say no? I told the prime minister many times about Muslim and Tribal reservations, but he says no. Is the country your Jagir? India first needs to tackle the arrogance of the BJP and Congress,” said Rao.

He also targeted Prime Minister alleging that he had lied on the power situation in the state. He called up on the citizens to leave the pessimistic attitude and have an optimistic approach.

Chandrashekar Rao said that he would do all these by being in Hyderabad. “Hyderabad is at central point and I can reach any part of the country within one and one-and-a-half hour. We have readied two aircraft and we will be visiting places in the country soon meeting likeminded leaders, thinkers, economists and hold discussions. We will release a paper and model in Delhi soon,” said Rao.

Stating that Asaduddin Owaisi was a secular leader, Chandrashekar Rao said that he along with the MIM president would be visiting all the places in the country.

“I know what the stature of Asaduddin Owaisi saheb is. He is a very good intellectual. He takes part in Parliament on every issue. He is not a fundamentalist and he is a secular politician. We both will jointly travel entire country,” said Rao.
