Hyderabad: Telangana State Wakf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem and CEO Shanawaz Qasim handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Engineer N Gopal and Executive Engineer Ramesh at TS Wakf Board office on Friday. The government of Telangana has sanctioned an amount of Rs 50 crore for the comprehensive development of Dargah Hazrat Jahangir Peeran (JP Dargah) located in Inmulnarva village, Kothur Mandal of RR district.

Mohammed Saleem said that the work was executed by the Telangana State Police Housing Corporation LTD. The development of works in JP Dargah includes main dargah and construction of separate mosques for men and women), sama khana, niyazkhana, proper cottage, drainage, roads, lighting, toilets, parking space etc., and a shopping complex and guest house will also be constructed on the dargah premises.
