Adilabad: Several areas in Adilabad district looking like hill stations due to the dense fog formed due to the cool winds caused by cyclone Phethai. While the people have dusted their sweaters and jackets, the fog made the lives of riders and people miserable due to poor visibility in mornings The temperature dropped drastically in the district in a span of six days.

A record level of temperature of 5 degree Celsius was recorded in the erstwhile Adilabad district, which is the lowest in the State during this season. The minimum temperature recorded on 19 December 2014 was 4 degrees C while it was recorded 4.1 degrees C on 27 December 2011 and the minimum temperature recorded so far in the district was 3.6 degrees C on 27 December 2017.
